We support our local food pantry in Waverly.

We are a member of “The Bridge of the Penn-York Valley Churches.”

The Bridge is a non-profit organization of churches in the Penn-York Valley and serves residents in the school districts of Waverly, Sayre, and Athens. The aim of The Bridge is to bridge the gaps of life in the name of Jesus Christ, and to provide help when and where other agencies are not available.

The Bridge was built because we believe our neighbors in need represent the invisible Christ for when we minister to them we minister to Him. The Bridge is an ecumenical ministry to that neighbor as a witness to those in need of assistance in our community.

Often The Bridge provides a safety net for those in immediate need. All are helped regardless of background, race, color, or persuasion.
